This is a replica and model of the actual hospital. It is built entirely of Legos and revolves within the glass case. The model can be found inside the hospital on the 11th floor, welcoming guests into the cafeteria and Gift Shop. Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital is one of only 10 children's hospitals nationwide, and the only one in Illinois, to be named a “Top Hospital” for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group, a national consortium of healthcare payers that promotes “leaps” in patient safety.

A four year selective enrollment high school, previously opened in 1938 as a grade school. It was also known as Jones Secretarial, a two year commercial school. It has gone through other transformations throughout the years as Jones Commercial and Jones College Prep, being housed in two buildings, the first opened in 1966 to resemble an office building. The old building is now connected to the new Jones College Prep building opened in 2013. This combined building will have a student body of 1700 students. It is named after William Jones who was the first president of the Chicago Board of Education.
